CINCINNATI BELL CONNECTOR STREETCAR TO OPERATE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AFTER REDS OPENING DAY PARADE

Crowds expected… buy streetcar tickets online on the free CincyEZRide app.

CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati Bell Connector streetcar will provide service as soon as it is safe and practical to do so on Reds Opening Day following the 98th annual Findlay Market Opening Day Parade on April 3.

There is a process required to re-energize the overhead power electrical system and assure that the tracks are clear and safe before streetcar service can begin. Barring any issues, it is anticipated that service will resume 30 to 45 minutes after the conclusion of the parade.

The streetcar will be closed during set-up for and during the parade for the safety of participants and spectators.

Reds fans who are planning to spend the day and evening downtown to watch their hometown team take on the Philadelphia Phillies can enjoy streetcar service to and from parking garages, the Great American Ball Park (Station 1 at The Banks) and bars and restaurants during the Opening Day festivities.
