Fireworks and festivities attracts more than 11,000 rides over extended Independence Day weekend

CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati Bell Connector streetcar has provided more than 600,000 rides since its grand opening on Sept. 9.

Through July 5, there have been 615,534 trips taken on the streetcar. 11,624 of those rides were taken during the Independence Day extended weekend, between Friday, June 30 and Tuesday, July 4.

(Ridership numbers are unaudited. Official numbers will be provided with the final monthly report).

Cincinnati Bell Connector streetcar “Connect to Summer Fun” monthly passes are on sale now for July and August for only $33 a month!

Monthly passes are available for purchase on the CincyEZRide app, Metro’s Sales Office at 120 E. 4th St., Cincinnati City Hall Treasurer’s Office at 801 Plum St. and online.
